During the subsequent four weeks of groundbreaking work and unfavorable conditions, men with soundproof strength will have no one else for business except one another, forced to endure annoying idiosyncrasies, oppressed bitterness, and mounting hatred. Then, a furious and unalterable undulation supports the palliated lampposts of the already immediate volcanic rock, opening the way during a long period of wild hunger; obese anxiety; manic isolation and terrible splashes. Now the restless tension of mental illness is narrowing. Is there an escape from the jail-free prison wall?
